Description
The Microphone Unit module, with a built-in omnidirectional electret microphone, detects sound and converts it into analog and digital signals. The built-in MAX4466 preamplifier amplifies the microphone signal, effectively suppressing power supply interference and common-mode noise, ensuring high-quality output even in acoustically disruptive environments.
The LM393 voltage comparator allows you to set the sound detection threshold using an adjustable 10 kΩ potentiometer. This allows you to adjust the sensitivity level to specific application requirements. The module is suitable for projects involving sound-to-electrical signal conversion, as well as for use as a sound trigger in home automation, interactive installations, and acoustic monitoring systems.
Compatibility with Arduino and UIFlow (Blocky, Python) platforms enables easy integration into hobbyist and educational projects.
