PETG filament in Carmine Red color with a diameter of 1.75 mm and a net weight of 1 kg, manufactured by Prusa Research with a diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm, wound on a spool equipped with an NFC tag for automatic material recognition in Prusa 3D printers. Prusa Research
Prusament PETG Carmine Red 1 kg (NFC) is intended for 3D printing parts requiring high mechanical strength, good temperature resistance, and durability in everyday use. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process including continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool includes an individual QR code allowing access to the actual production parameters of the specific batch.

PETG material features low shrinkage and strong layer adhesion, which reduces the risk of warping even when printing larger parts without an enclosed build chamber. The filament is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, including parts exposed to moisture. Compared to PLA, PETG provides higher mechanical strength and flexibility, at the cost of slightly lower reproduction of fine details.
The spool is equipped with an NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard, enabling automatic filament recognition in compatible Prusa 3D printers, simplifying material configuration and print process management.
