PETG filament in Jet Black with a diameter of 1.75 mm and a net weight of 1 kg featuring a ±0.02 mm diameter tolerance for FDM 3D printers, equipped with an NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard. Prusa Research
Prusament PETG Jet Black 1kg is designed for 3D printing parts requiring high mechanical strength, heat resistance, and long-term durability in both indoor and outdoor applications. The material is suitable for manufacturing enclosures, brackets, mounting components, functional parts, and prototypes exposed to mechanical loads. Excellent interlayer adhesion enables the production of watertight prints with enhanced moisture resistance.

PETG features low shrinkage and minimal warping, allowing large models to be printed without the need for an enclosed build chamber. Compared to PLA, it offers greater mechanical strength, higher heat resistance, and reduced brittleness while maintaining an easy printing process. Every spool is manufactured with continuous diameter measurement and colour consistency control. Production data can be accessed by scanning the QR code or reading the NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard, which operates locally without relying on cloud services. The manufacturing process ensures a ±0.02 mm diameter tolerance and excellent consistency between production batches.
The filament is made of PETG copolyester for FDM/FFF 3D printing technology and is not classified as hazardous under normal conditions of use.
