Description

Prusament PETG Urban Grey 1 kg NFC is designed for 3D printing parts requiring high mechanical strength, good temperature resistance, and durability in everyday use. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code allowing access to the real production data of the specific batch.

PETG material is characterized by low shrinkage and excellent layer adhesion, which helps reduce the risk of warping even when printing larger objects without an enclosed printer. The Urban Grey shade provides a neutral, technical appearance suitable for functional models, enclosures, prototypes, and structural components. Compared to PLA, PETG offers higher mechanical resistance and flexibility, although with slightly lower fine-detail reproduction.

The spool is equipped with an NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard, enabling automatic filament recognition in compatible Prusa 3D printers and simplifying material setup and print management.
