Description
Prusament PETG Ocean Blue 1kg NFC is designed for 3D printing of parts requiring high mechanical strength, temperature resistance and long-term durability. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process including continuous diameter measurement, color consistency control and mechanical property testing, ensuring repeatable parameters for every spool.
PETG material features low shrinkage and strong layer adhesion, reducing the risk of warping even when printing larger objects without an enclosure. The filament is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, including parts exposed to moisture. Compared to PLA, it offers higher strength and flexibility at the cost of slightly lower detail accuracy.
The spool is equipped with a programmable NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard, enabling material data reading by compatible devices and automatic filament recognition in 3D printers.
