Description
Prusament PLA Simply Green is designed for 3D printing parts that require high surface quality, precise detail reproduction, and stable printing performance. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code providing access to the specific production data of the given batch.
PLA material is characterized by low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, which reduces the risk of warping and enables reliable printing even on open-frame 3D printers. The filament is suitable for prototyping, visual models, decorative elements, and parts with moderate mechanical requirements. Compared to PETG, PLA provides better fine detail reproduction and improved surface finish, with lower temperature resistance.
The spool is equipped with an NFC tag that enables automatic filament recognition in compatible Prusa 3D printers, simplifying material setup and print management.
