In many applications, cheap 78xx family stabilizers are imperfect. With a large difference between the input voltage,
and with the initial and heavy load, they lose a lot of power, which forces you to use an expensive and space-consuming heat sink. 78Rxx impulse converters with 78xx-compatible terminals are commercially available, but they are relatively expensive. The proposed solution is nearly a 3-times cheaper equivalent of such a converter.

The printed circuit board and documentation are included.
