Description

ROSA3D PC+PBT filament for 3D printing with a diameter of 1.75 mm. 0.5 kg of filament is wound on the spool. The recommended printing temperature is in the range of 240°C to 260°C, and the temperature of the bed during printing is in the range of 90°C to 110°C.

Rosa3D is a Polish manufacturer of filaments intended for both hobby and industrial printing. Thanks to many years of experience and modern machinery, the company is able to provide good quality and high accuracy of the diameter and roundness of the filament.

PC/PBT (HT-UV-IMPACT) filament is a filament for industrial and automotive applications. The material has been modified in terms of impact strength and resistance to high temperatures, and also filled with an anti-UV stabilizer. It gives a nice, matte finish to details and enables printing with a 0.2 mm nozzle. The addition of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) to polycarbonate means less deformation on 3D printed parts than with pure PC.

The material is easier to print than PC and most popular PC / ABS blends, does not emit unpleasant odors during printing, has a relatively low shrinkage for this group of materials (up to 1%) and very good adhesion to the table. Excellent mechanical properties, very good impact strength and elasticity with the possibility of using it in outdoor conditions (UV resistant) and the ability to work at a relatively high temperature (90-110 ° C) make it an excellent construction material with a wide range of applications. Both in terms of impact strength and temperature resistance, the material fares better than the popular PET-G and ABS, while it is easier to print than PC and PC-ABS.
The material can be used with both Direct and Bowden printers. The manufacturer recommends the use of a closed chamber and adhesive preparations. Due to the high printing temperatures, it is necessary to install a full-metal heatbreak (without a Teflon tube inside). The filament should be dried before printing at 110 ° C for at least 3 hours.
