The signal generator, next to the universal meter and oscilloscope, is probably one of the basic measuring instruments in the workshop of every electronics. Electrical waveforms can be generated in many ways. One of the more problematic are sinusoidal waveforms. Designing and fabricating a generator with sinusoidal output requires knowledge and experience, especially if the device is to be tunable in a wide range of frequencies. Integrated generators such as ICL8038 have become a solution, but the passive components used in their applications are subject to the aging process, which affects the quality of operation. By far the best solution is to 'get' into the work of digital circuits. Presented set is just a representative of generators that use digital signal processing.
The device is particularly recommended in electronic laboratories, in measuring systems
