The RS232 interface will not come out of widespread exploitation for a long time, because despite its imperfections, it is one of the most practical communication interfaces in the history of electronics. Here is a simple device that enhances the advantages of standard RS232 interfaces, enabling the creation of bidirectional connections between devices powered from lines with different reference potentials (in other words, badly grounded), which can easily be found not only in private apartments.
