Practically every PC user becomes at some point before the problem of the lack of free USB connectors. Usually 3-4 such ports are built into the motherboards, which is too small for the high popularity of this system. Increasing the number of connectors is possible thanks to the external multiplier - USB hub. We present such a device. It is a 4-port Hub compliant with the 2.0 specification, i.e. allowing devices to communicate at speeds up to 480Mb / s. Of course, the device is also fully compatible with the older USB 1.1 standard. Its power is supplied directly from the computer port. The USB hub is controlled by Cypress CY7C65640 controller.
The device is especially recommended for all PC users
