The device has an auxiliary function and it comes down to silencing the signal from the instrument when it is not played. It is an indispensable complement to the acoustic track, in which there are distortions that distort the signal. When sounds come out of the guitar, all the 'brums' are effectively masked by the useful signal. A break in the game may mean that they will be heard by the recipients of music. The noise gate protects against such a situation. Its principle of operation is very simple - dropping the input signal below the set threshold results in cutting off the audio signal at the output of the device.

The device is especially recommended to musicians playing guitars, lovers of interesting sounds
