BATTERY PROTECTION WITH MOSFET-EM - INDEPENDENT INSTALLATION KIT

All batteries do not like deep discharge. Some of them, when fully discharged, significantly reduce the capacity and a few times deep discharge and leaving the battery in this state can mean a complete loss of capacity. This applies especially to acidic batteries, including popular gel ones.
Presented simple system automatically disconnects the load when the battery voltage drops below 9.5V. The executive element is the MOSFET transistor, which, without a heat sink, enables operation with loads up to 3A.

The device is especially recommended for all battery users

Selected parameters:

  • Intended for 12V batteries
  • Load current <3A (without radiator), <10A (with heatsink)
  • Possibility of changing the switch-off voltage and hysteresis
  • Can be adapted to batteries with a voltage of 6-12V
  • System mounted without a printed circuit board
  • 12Vdc power supply (from the battery)
