The device is used to test computer monitors. Providing signals with the appropriate structure to the monitor input allows you to determine its technical parameters and the correctness of displayed colors. The VGA-tester generates a test by which it is possible to find the resolution and the limit frequency above which the CRT monitor does not display the image. For LCD monitors, you can mark damaged pixels or sub pixels that are normally not easily visible.
The tester uses a microcontroller responsible for generating all images in different colors, refresh rates and resolutions. It simplified the construction and commissioning of the device considerably.
The device is particularly recommended on computer service, during repairs of monitors
