An extensive charger for car batteries. It is characterized by: smooth adjustment of the charging current, continuous reading of voltage and current, possibility of quick shutdown without risk of shock or sparks, and automatic shutdown after the end of the charging process. An additional advantage is the ability to easily make changes and modifications.
The charging process is supervised by the ATmega8 microprocessor. The thyristor was used as the executive element.
