The ST7Ultralite Primer is a complete, ultra-low-cost evaluation and development package that provides the ST8Ultralite ST7FLITEUS microcontrollers, including the internal RC oscillator, 10-bit Analog Digital Converter (ADC) ), 12-bit Autoreload timer with PWM, Low voltage and Auxiliary voltage detectors.

The Primer comes pre-programmed with the UltraliteMusic software application - a clever light sensor / buzzer application that plays five musical selections. The application implements a range of ST7FLITEUS features such as internal RC with Pulse width modulation mode, analog digital converter and low voltage detection.

Users can modify Ctrl and Ride software toolset, which comes with a ready-to-build project and C source files for the application.

For in-circuit debugging and the ST7Ultralite Primer includes the Raisonance RLink in-circuit debugger and programmer, the embedded version of the RLink in-circuit debugger / programmer tailored to the target. It allows users to modify and debug application code via the Ride development environment.
