The advantage of the system is its unusual simplicity. It is possible thanks to the use of ready-made modules: AVT553 / U and AVT553 / R kit (described in EP 11/2003 ). They are mounted in the base plate. Additional elements, LED diodes, signal the correct operation of the system. The interface is powered directly from the USB port.

The device is recommended for all USB users and electronics who want to minimize the work involved in building the interface

Selected parameters:

• two data lines (TxD and RxD)
• it can be supplemented with a DTR line
• LED diodes signaling the correctness of work and data transmission
• the system uses AVT553 modules
• power supply - 5 V (from USB port)
