The DMX (Digital MultipleXed Protocol) system enables the operation of 512 devices, such as: heaters, curtains, movable elements of the scene. The transmission uses one pair of wires. It is widely used in cinemas, theaters and operas.

Recommendations: the device will be useful for people involved in the set design and technical arrangement.

  • DMX-512 signal reception
  • control of the relay and dimmer
  • con gured functions in the absence of transmission: turning off the receiver, remembering the last state
  • receiver address is updated on-line
  • increased resistance to transmission errors
  • power consumption 4 W
  • maximum load current of relay contacts 16 A
  • the maximum triac current of the regulator:
    • without heat sink: 2 A (460W)
    • with heatsink: 4 A (920 W)
  • controller load, e.g. 230 VAC bulb with power up to 900 W (using a heat sink)

The set includes a printed circuit board, a programmed layout, a set of elements and documentation.
