An unquestionable advantage of the 1Wire interface is the small number of connection cables. This allows convenient placement of modules cooperating with the supervising system far from the main unit. In the presented 1Wire set, the slave was used to connect and communicate with the LED display module. The possibility of displaying four digits in one of three colors allows for easy presentation of eg temperature or time. Such a module will prove to be very useful in a situation where we want the reading to be possible in different places far away from each other, eg in shops, offices, etc.

The device is especially recommended for the presentation of time or temperature in places distant from the supervisory system
