Development kit for Xilinx Spartan 3 FPGA systems

ZL6PLD is a development kit for the Xilinx X-ray family of Spartan 3 FPGAs. In addition to the PLD system with large logical resources, the set was equipped with peripherals used in typical microprocessor systems.

The basic properties of the set:

• XC3S200 system in the VQFP100 housing,
• built-in configurator with Flash memory XCF01S,
• socket for connecting an alphanumeric LCD display with 2x16 characters,
• 4-digit, multiplexed LED display,
• 8 LEDs,
• 4 buttons for any applications,
• a button forcing FPGA initialization (read configuration from Flash memory),
• 3.6864 MHz quartz generator in the stand,
• RC generator with adjustable frequency,
• piezoelectric speaker,
• RS232 interface with voltage converter,
• USB interface connector (ZL1USB_A),
• JTAG interface connector (FPGA configuration, programming configurator),
• possibility of powering from USB or unregulated 9 ... 12 VDC external power supply,
• built-in supply voltage stabilizers (1,2 / 2,5 / 3,3 and 5 V).

The set includes:

• assembled circuit board,
• CD-ROM.
