Description

The Roboclaw controller has two synchronous channels supplying two brush motors with a constant current of 5A and a voltage of 6 to 34V and allows the current to be increased up to two times the maximum rated value. The controller has a PID procedure that allows control in a closed loop, maintaining the motor speed at variable load. Reading counts and decoder speed can be made directly from the controller and sent to an external controller. RoboClaw can be controlled by many external master systems: a computer using the USB interface, a system built-in using the TTL interface, RC controller for using the controller as ESC or it can be communicated through analog signals produced by joysticks or potentiometers.
