The heating season is approaching, and with it the smog topic will probably come back to the media ... In September Practical Electronics you can find a project of air pollution meter, which in many cases can answer the question of whether it is safe to go for a walk, especially with a small child. An unusual project is a weather station, which made of popular components not only measures environmental conditions, but also gets weather forecast from the Internet and shows it on a clear LCD display. A novelty for the EP, which can not be overlooked due to the growing importance of device prototypes designers and the availability of devices, is 3D printing. In the current issue, under the heading "Automation and Mechatronics", we start the 3D printing course based on the popular, free Design Spark Mechanical program and the Cura slicer. In this first article from the series, we present the basics of drawing three-dimensional objects, useful for electronics. We describe them on the basis of the button head design, so the first, drawn and printed item can find practical use. I encourage you to read!
