Description

CraftUnique printers are made of the highest quality components and are characterized by intuitive operation developed over the years. The solid and rigid frame enables stable printing at high speeds. The control panel is easy to use so that even beginners can handle the printer, but at the same time it contains a lot of settings intended for more advanced users. The maximum extruder temperature of 300°C and the maximum bed temperature of 110°C allow you to print from any available material, eg PLA, ABS, HIPS, PET, Nylon, and the direct extruder facilitates printing from flexible materials. The printer ready to print in 3D after taking it out of the box.

The IDEX system

IDEX is a system of two independent extruders, which works much better than systems with two extruders mounted on one trolley. A printer with two independent extruders can operate in three modes. It can print from two different materials, making it possible to create prints with complex supports made of water-soluble material, without the need to tediously separate them from the print or print two-color elements. Such a printer can also print two objects in parallel, in copy or mirror mode. In the copy mode, the printer prints two identical objects simultaneously, while in the mirror image mode, the second printed element is symmetrical to the first, with respect to the center of the table. The IDEX system allows you to park the extruder that is not in use at the moment, thanks to which there is no need to waste material on cleaning nozzles.

Increased working area

The CraftBot FLOW IDEX printer in the XL version has twice the working area compared to the standard version of the printer. The length and width of the printers are the same, while the XL version is higher by 250 mm, thanks to which it allows you to print elements with a maximum height of 500 mm.

Semi-automatic calibration

The CraftBot FLOW IDEX XL printer is equipped with a BL Touch bed level sensor, which makes calibration quick and easy. To calibrate the printer, select the appropriate function on the screen, and then the printer will measure the leveling error and, using clear messages on the display, will tell the user what steps should be taken to precisely level the table.

Storage media and communication interfaces

The printer is equipped with 4 GB of built-in memory on which you can store print files, in addition, you can print from a USB memory stick or memory card via USB adapter. The printer can be controlled wired via USB or Ethernet and wirelessly via Wi-Fi or the cloud.

32-bit controller and advanced TMC2208 motor drivers

The printer controller is based on a 32-bit chip from Atmel, which allows for more effective and precise control of printer components compared to 8-bit units. TCM2208 motor drivers provide precise control of stepper motors and their quiet operation.

RPI CM3 based user interface

The printer's control panel is based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3, which significantly increases its capabilities and allows for easy modifications.

Built-in camera

The printer is equipped with a camera that allows you to remotely monitor the printout, which is especially useful for long printouts, so you can turn on the printout and move away from the printer while maintaining full control over the printout.

Advanced filament sensor

The printer is equipped with an advanced filament sensor which, detecting the end of the filament, allows you to monitor the amount of material fed on an ongoing basis, correct any errors and eliminate printing defects.
