ASA filament (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic) for 3D printing with a diameter of 1.75 mm by ROSA3D. 0.7 kg of filament is wound on the spool. The recommended printing temperature is in the range of 220°C to 250°C, and the temperature of the bed during printing is in the range of 90°C to 110°C. The manufacturer recommends printing in a closed chamber.
Rosa3D is a Polish manufacturer of filaments intended for both hobby and industrial printing. Thanks to many years of experience and modern machinery, the company is able to provide good quality and accuracy of the diameter and roundness of the filament. ASA filament from Rosa3D is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and heat. It will find applications in the automotive, marine and outdoor industries such as mirror housings, covers, radiator covers and sensor housings.
ASA filament is a suitable material for outdoor applications that will be intensely exposed to the sun and various weather conditions. It is ideal when the user needs an efficient material that will be less problematic than printing from ABS. The filament has less shrinkage and the vapors produced are much less noticeable. The softening point of ASA prints is higher compared to PLA and PET-G, there are no signs of deformation up to the temperature of about 94°C.
