Thanks to the use of triple teeth (3Prong), Lanberg plugs fit both types of cables - wire and stranded. The wire consists of a single piece of metal wire, making it ideal for structural installations. Cable, on the other hand, consists of a bundle of thinner wires, which makes it ideal for shorter lengths such as patch cords.
