A complete measurement system for PHM/SHM applications equipped with an energy-saving microprocessor system based on the MPU from the Renesas RZ/V2L family (dual-core Cortex-A55 + Cortex-M33). The integrated computing unit implemented in the FPGA system, using a proprietary selection algorithm, performs on-site and on-the-fly analysis and selection of data collected from integrated sensors.
The device uses wireless communication and an optional Ethernet cable interface for data transfer from the measurement point to the supervising SCADA system. The achieved transmission efficiency in an industrial environment is not less than 18% of recorded samples, in accordance with the Shannon criterion.
The measurement system is delivered with system software (based on Yocto) and API documentation made available for master SCADA or use in browser applications.
