RTL-SDR Blog V3 R860 (R820T2) is a high-quality SDR receiver with 1PPM TCXO and bias-tee, operating in the 500 kHz – 1.7 GHz range. The set includes dipole antennas for receiving signals from multiple bands such as ADS-B, AIS, NOAA, aviation, satellite, and radio communication. The device is a versatile tool for radio hobbyists and SDR system users.
RTL-SDR Blog V3 R860 is an SDR (Software Defined Radio) receiver based on the RTL2832U chip with R820T2/R860 tuner and a 1PPM TCXO stabilized crystal. The device allows reception in the frequency range from 500 kHz to 1.7 GHz with a maximum bandwidth of 3.2 MHz (stable at 2.4 MHz). Built-in features include direct sampling mode for HF bands and a software-activated bias-tee for powering LNAs or active antennas. The aluminum enclosure with passive cooling and additional ESD protection ensures high stability and durability.
The set includes a multifunction dipole antenna with telescopic elements and mounting accessories, making it easy to receive various bands – from ADS-B signals (1090 MHz), through aviation and satellite bands (137 MHz), down to lower VHF/UHF frequencies. The receiver works with popular software such as SDR# (SDRSharp), HDSDR, SDR-Radio, GQRX, or SDR Touch (Android), and is compatible with Windows, Linux, macOS, as well as single-board computers like Raspberry Pi.
