Description

Sonoff SNZB-04 is a wireless door opening/closing sensor and works within the Zigbee standard. It is an excellent security device informing, for example, about unwanted entry into the house. It can send notifications about the occurrence of an event and, in conjunction with a camera, inform about who entered the room. The device allows you to read data from the last 3 months, thanks to which the user can trace past events. It is configured using the application and requires connection to the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge to work properly. Combined with smart lighting, it can also add the function of automatically turning on the light in the room when you open the door. Sonoff SNZB-04 consists of two elements, one of which is mounted in a non-invasive way with a tape on the wall, and the other on a door or window. It is battery operated and the application will inform the user when the battery charge becomes too low.

Zigbee is a standard that offers many advantages that have a very positive effect on the operation of devices within the system. The basic one is the speed of pairing devices - the Zigbee standard allows for 3 times faster pairing of devices than WiFi. In addition, each device permanently connected to the electricity increases the range of the network. Zigbee also offers a long range - up to 80 m in open space.
