Description

MicroMod Asset Tracker Carrier Board is an expansion board designed for MicroMod main modules. It is equipped with the u-blox SARA-R510M8S module, which offers Secure Cloud LTE-M and NB-IoT communication and has an integrated u-blox M8 GNSS receiver for accurate position information. SARA-R5 supports many different forms of data communication, from TCP / IP, through HTTP, FTP, Ping and SMS messages. The board has an integrated ICM-20948 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to detect orientation and movement, and a digital microphone. Thanks to this set of tools, the module can transmit information in the event of events - motion or noise detection. The Asset Tracker Carrier Board also has a built-in microSD card slot for data logging. It can be powered by a USB type C connector or a LiPo battery (the board has a built-in charging system and a battery charge level indicator). The set includes a MicroMod Update module for direct communication with u-blox SARA-R510M8S using the m-center software. Full documentation with the guide is available on the product page.

MicroMod is an interface ecosystem that connects the main module to the processor or the microcontroller to various peripherals through expansion boards. Using the M.2 standard, MicroMod allows easy replacement of main modules.
