Description

MicroMod RP2040 Processor is a board equipped with the RP2040 microcontroller designed by the Raspberry Pi foundation. The system has two ARM Cortex M0 + cores operating at a frequency of 133 MHz, 256 KB of RAM and 30 GPIO ports. The microcontroller is not equipped with flash memory, but there is an external 16 MB memory connected via QSPI interface on the board.

The module is equipped with an M.2 connector, thanks to which it can work with expansion boards from the MicroMod series. It has two I2C, UART, SPI, 29 GPIO buses, dedicated digital, analog and PWM and USB pins.

The platform supports the popular MicroPython and C/C++ programming languages. Programs can be loaded to memory via USB interface using the built-in UF2 bootloader.

MicroMod is an interface ecosystem that connects the main module to the processor or the microcontroller to various peripherals through expansion boards. Using the M.2 standard, MicroMod allows easy replacement of main modules.
