MicroMod Data Logging Carrier Board is an expansion board designed for MicroMod main modules. It is equipped with a microSD card slot and has numerous communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C), which makes it perfect for logging data from peripheral devices. There is a USB type C socket on the board, which can be used both for power supply, system programming and communication. The module with the processor is plugged into the M.2 connector. Additionally, the board has a backup battery for the RTC and buttons (Reset and Boot). Thanks to the Lipo battery connector and the built-in MCP73831 charger, the set can be used as a portable data logger. For more advanced users, SWD pins have been introduced, allowing the full use of the set's capabilities. MicroMod is an interface ecosystem that connects the main module to the processor or the microcontroller to various peripherals through expansion boards. Using the M.2 standard, MicroMod allows easy replacement of main modules.
