A compact and efficient step-up voltage regulator that provides a stable 5 V output voltage. The device belongs to the U3V9Fx family of regulators and operates in switching power supply (SMPS) technology, which allows for typical efficiency in the 70–95% range. With a switching frequency of about 1.6 MHz under heavy load and a power-saving mode at lower currents, the regulator offers high application flexibility. The system can limit peak input current to 2.2 A, and under typical conditions it can operate stably with continuous input current up to 900 mA. This makes it an excellent choice for applications that require a stable 5 V supply from low-voltage sources such as Li-Ion batteries, cells, or other mobile power supplies.

The small size of the module makes it suitable both for prototyping and integration into space-constrained projects.
