Step-Up DC-DC converter module. It offers a constant voltage of 7.5 V at its output and can be supplied with a voltage from 1.3 to 16 V, with a minimum starting voltage of 2.7 V. The inverter has an input current limitation of 2 A (instantaneous current), and can draw up to about 1.6 A in continuous mode without tripping the thermal switch. The output current depends on the input current, efficiency and the gain ratio of VOUT to VIN. The higher the gain, the lower the maximum output current will be.

The module has an efficiency of 85% to 95%. It has a number of built-in protections, including input current limitation, undervoltage lockout and thermal shutdown. There is no short-circuit protection, so the circuit can be damaged if the output is short-circuited or overloaded.
