The Discovery B-L462E-CELL1 kit is a ready-made development platform for cellular IoT devices. The kit includes a Discovery motherboard equipped with the LBAD0ZZ1SE module and a global antenna. The LBAD0ZZ1SE module includes an STM32L462REY6TR microcontroller, an LTE Cat M/NB LBAD0XX1SC-DM modem and a built-in ST4SIM-200M SIM card with GSMA certification. ST4SIM-200M can also be used as an embedded secure element (eSE).
STMod+ provides unlimited expansion possibilities thanks to a large selection of specialized add-on boards. Moreover, the additional module supports boards using mikroBUS, ESP-01, Grove I2C and Grove UART. The Discovery B-L462E-CELL1 kit has a built-in ST-LINK debugger/programmer and offers support in the form of comprehensive STM32Cube software libraries with examples.
