STM32MP257F-DK Discovery Kit is an advanced evaluation platform designed for developing and testing applications based on the powerful STM32MP257FAK3 processor. The kit is built on a heterogeneous architecture combining a dual-core Arm Cortex-A35 processor and a Cortex-M33 real-time core, enabling simultaneous operation of Linux-based systems and real-time applications. This solution allows users to create advanced embedded systems that require both high performance and deterministic behavior.
The platform supports the STM32 MPU OpenSTLinux Distribution for the main processor and STM32CubeMP2 for the coprocessor, significantly simplifying software development. The integrated STLINK-V3EC debugger enables fast programming and debugging without additional tools. The kit offers a rich set of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and MIPI CSI-2, allowing implementation of a wide range of projects.

With built-in LPDDR4 memory and eMMC storage, users have access to high-performance resources for running operating systems and storing data. The presence of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy modules enables easy integration with wireless networks and IoT devices. Additionally, the board features connectors compatible with Raspberry Pi, allowing expansion with a wide range of available modules. The board also includes elements that facilitate prototyping, such as LEDs, user buttons, and boot mode switches, enabling quick application testing. Support for popular environments such as Yocto Project, Buildroot, and STM32CubeIDE provides flexibility in tool selection. This makes the kit suitable for both industrial and educational applications.
