Description

STM32MP157F-DK2 is a starter kit with an application microprocessor from the STM32MP series from STMicroelectronic equipped with a TFT 4" LCD display with a touch screen, WiFi module and Bluetooth LE 4.1. The STM32MP157F system is a combination of a typical processor with Cortex-A7 core and a microcontroller with Cortex-M4 core. The combination of these two cores allows users to develop applications using the STM32 MPU OpenSTLinux Distribution software for the main processor and the STM32CubeMP1 software for the coprocessor. The chip is also equipped with a GPU graphic coprocessor (compatible with OpenGL ES 2.0).

The STM32MP1 microprocessor has integrated external SDRAM interfaces. Thanks to the built-in hardware interfaces, it can also directly use Flash eMMC, NAND Flash (serial or parallel), NOR Flash (serial) and SD cards. The set also has a built-in Ethernet 1 Gb / s interface, USB type C connector and 4 USB type A sockets. The system is powered by a specialized PMIC power supply system, which integrates a 6-channel LDO stabilizer, a 3-channel DC/DC converter. Additional modules can be connected by the user to the pins compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The set is operated using the built-in ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger/programmer.
