Description
Thermal-45 USB Camera (C) enables non-contact temperature measurement and thermal image generation using a smartphone equipped with a USB-C port. The device uses LWIR infrared radiation detection technology, converting thermal energy distribution into a temperature map of observed object surfaces.
Compact Form and Mobile Thermal Diagnostics
Thermal-45 USB Camera (C) thermal imaging camera is enclosed in a compact aluminum alloy housing. The enclosure design supports heat dissipation and increases mechanical durability during use in service and field applications. The integrated USB-C connector allows direct connection to a smartphone without additional cables, ensuring a stable mechanical interface.
The centrally positioned optical module is responsible for detecting infrared radiation in the LWIR range. The 160 x 120 px array converts IR radiation distribution into a temperature map of object surfaces, enabling non-contact measurement and real-time thermal analysis.
USB-C Interface with Mobile and Desktop Application Support
The camera works with a dedicated application for smartphones and PC, enabling real-time thermal image preview and temperature distribution analysis. The user interface allows selection of color palettes, adjustment of temperature range, dynamic image scaling, and adaptation of visualization parameters to current measurement conditions.
The application supports taking screenshots, recording video, and reading temperature at selected points in the image, along with displaying minimum and maximum values within the analyzed area. These features enable continuous monitoring of temperature changes and documentation of measurement results.
Applications include diagnostics of electrical installations, HVAC system inspection, mechanical component inspection, and thermal analysis of electronic devices and technical systems.
45° / 88° FOV Options for Different Applications
The camera is available in two field-of-view variants: 45° and 88°, allowing the device to be matched to specific application requirements. The 88° version provides a wide-angle view of a larger area in a single frame, making it suitable for room monitoring, installation inspection, security systems, and rapid environmental scanning.
The 45° version offers a narrower field of view with higher detail of the observed area, making it suitable for spot diagnostics, electronic component analysis, and inspection of objects requiring more precise measurement. Selecting the appropriate FOV variant allows optimization of the camera’s performance depending on the measurement scenario and required observation accuracy.
The thermal imaging camera in the 45° FOV version enables precise temperature distribution analysis in a compact form designed for mobile, diagnostic, and service applications, with direct operation via a smartphone.
