Waveshare 8inch USB Monitor W is a sleek and functional auxiliary display for PC, ideal for system data monitoring, music visualizations, and desktop customization. Description
8" IPS display designed as an auxiliary screen for PC cases or an eye-catching ambient panel for the desktop. The W version is made entirely of silver CNC-machined aluminum, offering high durability, aesthetics, and efficient heat dissipation.
The device supports audio spectrum analysis from WAV files or a microphone signal, providing dynamic visual effects synchronized with music. A built-in processor allows video background playback and quick interface theme switching.
Operated via a single USB connection (Type-C or 9PIN to 4PIN), no additional power supply is needed – data transmission and power are handled simultaneously. The screen does not affect computer performance or cursor behavior and is recognized as a USB device.
Bundled software enables theme configuration, system data monitoring, brightness adjustment, and automatic startup with the system.
