Description

The 5-DSI-TOUCH-B model in the standard version (without enclosure) is intended for use in embedded systems, HMI operator panels, and mobile devices utilizing the MIPI-DSI interface. The screen operates in portrait orientation by default with a resolution of 720 × 1280 px (H×V), with the option to switch to landscape mode via software configuration.

The IPS panel provides a wide 178° viewing angle and stable color reproduction. The capacitive touch panel supports up to 5 simultaneous touch points (depending on the operating system), while the toughened glass surface with hardness up to 6H increases scratch resistance. Optical bonding technology enhances image clarity, reduces reflections, and limits dust ingress between display layers.

Image communication is handled through the DSI interface, while the touch panel uses the I2C bus. Backlight adjustment is available via software control. The total module thickness is approximately 8 mm (excluding standoff height), facilitating integration into compact project enclosures.

The display is compatible with Raspberry Pi platforms (Raspberry Pi OS, 5-point touch), ESP32-P4 (LVGL GUI support), as well as systems based on RK3506 and RK3576 (Buildroot, Debian, Ubuntu, Android). Power is supplied via the 5 V GPIO line according to the manufacturer’s documentation.
