Description

The Brymen BM039F fork clamp multimeter is designed for measuring AC/DC voltage, AC current using an open-jaw clamp, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and temperature in service, installation, and industrial applications. Its True RMS measurement system ensures accurate readings for both sinusoidal and distorted waveforms, while the VFD ACV function with a built-in LPF enables reliable voltage and frequency measurements on variable frequency drives and noisy electrical signals. The integrated EF detector provides both non-contact (NCV) and single-probe voltage detection with selectable high and low sensitivity levels. The instrument also supports DC μA measurements for HVAC flame sensor testing and temperature measurement using the supplied BKP60 Type-K thermocouple. The 12.5 mm open-jaw clamp allows convenient measurements inside crowded electrical panels and junction boxes.

The BM039F features automatic ranging, a backlit LCD display, and Relative Zero, Data Hold, MAX/MIN, CREST, and BeepLit™ continuity test functions to simplify measurement and data analysis. The BeepLit™ diode test provides audible indication of forward-biased and shorted diodes, while the intelligent Auto Power Off (APO) function extends battery life. A rugged ergonomic housing, 6 kV transient protection, and compliance with EN61010-1, EN61010-2-032, EN61010-2-033, and EN61326-1 ensure reliable operation and enhanced user safety.
