Description
The Adafruit Switchable USB Type A to C Breakout Board allows you to manually switch the signal and power lines on your USB cable. Using a four-position DIP switch, you can independently turn on or off each of the lines: VBUS (power), GND (ground), D+, and D- (data lines). The board is designed for low-voltage, low-current applications, such as microcontroller projects. Disabling the data lines provides a "charge-only" function, while disconnecting the power allows you to monitor high- or low-side currents. All lines are routed to labeled pads, allowing you to easily connect test probes and analyze signals or voltages. The C&K SDA04H1SBD switches used on the board are rated at 5V and 100mA.
