The Raspberry Pi USB 3 Hub operates based on a simple signal-splitting mechanism, allowing simultaneous connection of multiple peripherals. To use, simply connect the USB 3.0 splitter to a USB Type-A port on your Raspberry Pi computer with the integrated 8 cm USB cable. Then, plug up to four external devices into the available USB 3.0 ports. The hub is plug&play compatible, so it doesn’t require any driver installation – it connects to your system automatically.
If your connected devices require additional power, simply plug an optional power adapter into the USB Type-C port on the hub. The external power support of 5V at 3A provides stability when connecting power-hungry devices, such as external hard drives or large printers.
