FE1.1s is a compact and energy-efficient USB 2.0 hub controller, designed for integration into devices requiring support for multiple USB ports while maintaining high stability and low implementation costs.
FE1.1s is a highly integrated USB 2.0 hub controller, offering support for four downstream ports with High-Speed (480 Mb/s), Full-Speed (12 Mb/s), and Low-Speed (1.5 Mb/s) transfer rates. The chip features a Single Transaction Translator (STT) architecture with six non-periodic transaction buffers, minimizing transmission blocking risks and improving data transfer efficiency.
With full compliance to the USB 2.0 specification and integrated transceivers, voltage regulators, and a 12 MHz oscillator, the controller ensures stable operation with low power consumption. The built-in Power-On-Reset circuit and EEPROM support allow configuration of device identifiers and the number of ports.
FE1.1s supports external LEDs to indicate power status and port activity, as well as global over-current detection and ganged power control.
