Module with the HUSB238 chip, which allows for flexible configuration of the voltage and current supplied through the USB PD (Power Delivery) port. This unique solution enables both manual parameter setting and dynamic control via the I2C bus. The board works perfectly with USB Type C adapters which can supply a variety of voltages including standard 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 18V and 20V. This means you can negotiate and choose the most suitable voltage according to your project needs .
The adapter can provide a voltage of up to 20V at a current of 5A, which means you can get up to 100W of power via USB Type C. You can use jumpers in the form of resistors (default 5V and 1A) to set the desired voltage supplied by USB PD. , which is a quick and simple way to adjust operating parameters. For more advanced settings, the I2C bus allows you to dynamically adjust parameters from a microcontroller or microcomputer. The manufacturer provides an easy-to-use Arduino library and sample code for ease of use.
