Description

CM5-DUAL-ETH-BOX-A (EU) is an advanced base board designed for use with Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5. The design focuses on wired networking and provides two independent RJ45 Ethernet ports: Gigabit Ethernet 1000M and 2.5G Ethernet 2500M, enabling networking applications, edge systems, and industrial installations that require stable wired connections.

The board supports two HDMI outputs with simultaneous dual 4K display operation, as well as two 4-lane MIPI interfaces intended for connecting DSI displays or CSI cameras. The M.2 M Key connector allows installation of NVMe SSDs in a wide range of form factors, delivering higher read and write performance compared to TF cards.

Onboard features include a Raspberry Pi–compatible 40-pin GPIO header, one USB 3.2 Gen1 port and two USB 2.0 ports, a TF card slot for Compute Module 5 Lite variants, and onboard EEPROM and encryption chips. Power is supplied via a wide 7–36 V DC input range. The BOX-A variant is delivered with a metal enclosure equipped with a cooling fan, supporting heat dissipation in continuous-operation applications.

Unlike versions with cellular communication support, this board does not provide an M.2 B Key connector or SIM slot and does not support 4G / 5G modules. The solution targets networking infrastructure, industrial automation, and embedded systems where wired data transmission and high Ethernet throughput are critical.

The kit includes a metal enclosure and a power supply.
