Description

Development board with the Xilinx Zynq XC7Z020 chip and FTDI's FT2232H dual-channel USB converter. It includes a System on Chip (SoC) with an ARM core and numerous peripherals including UART, SPI, I2C, Dual Gigabit Ethernet, SDIO etc. In addition to the SoC, Zynq also has an FPGA chip equivalent to the Xilinx Series-7. It is specially designed for the development and integration of FPGA based functions with other larger projects. The high-speed USB 2.0 interface ensures easy configuration download to the built-in SPI flash memory (no programmer or special cable needed). The second FTDI channel can be used to build custom applications based on USB communication. Styx gives users the flexibility to add their own peripherals via IO expansion connectors. The set will be used for prototyping, signal processing as well as creating and testing circuits. It can be used as an educational board. Full documentation is available on the product page.
