K8048 is a prototyping kit and PIC programmer, enabling testing and programming of various Microchip microcontrollers. Thanks to its extended functions and RS232 support, it is suitable for education, prototyping, and hobby electronic projects.
The K8048 kit combines the function of a PIC microcontroller programmer with a universal prototyping board for testing and running code. It supports PIC devices in 8-, 14-, 18-, and 28-pin packages. Direct connection to a computer is possible via the RS232 port.
The board includes buttons and LEDs for application testing, as well as a power supply that can be connected to a regulated 12 V or an unregulated 15 V source. The kit comes with software enabling programmer functionality.
