LWIR thermal imaging module with a 160x120 pixel matrix and integrated automatic image correction. The device provides precise temperature measurement at each pixel and video output in 14-bit, 8-bit AGC, or 24-bit RGB formats. The module features high thermal sensitivity, low power consumption, and a small footprint, making it ideal for drones, robots, and portable surveillance systems. FLIR Lepton 3.5
FLIR Lepton 3.5 is a compact LWIR thermal imaging module that can be easily integrated into mobile devices, drones, or consumer electronics. The module features a 160×120 pixel array and an integrated shutter for automatic image correction, allowing clear real-time thermal images. With the Lepton radiometric capability, precise and calibrated temperature measurement is possible for every pixel of the image, contactlessly.
Lepton 3.5 offers higher resolution and sensitivity than common thermopile arrays as well as low power consumption, making it suitable for portable devices and autonomous systems. Its small size and various lens options allow use in smartphones, network-independent sensors, and small electronic systems. The module is intended for both professional integrators and large OEM projects, providing rapid deployment with reduced costs and minimal risk.
Thanks to the integrated automatic image correction (NUC) and compact design, Lepton 3.5 is ideal for applications such as drones, robots, environmental monitoring devices, or security systems. The module enables precise tracking of temperature changes, and its video output supports multiple formats: 14-bit, 8-bit with AGC, or 24-bit RGB with colorization. This makes Lepton 3.5 an ideal solution for creators of smart thermal imaging devices who need an affordable and easily integrable micro thermal camera.
