Thermal imaging camera module based on MLX90640 image sensor. With a sensor array, it can detect the IR radiation distribution of objects in the field of view, convert the data into the surface temperature of objects, and then generate thermal images. It can measure temperature from -40 to 300°C with an accuracy of 1°C. As feedback, it sends data independently for each pixel (getting the temperature, however, requires complex calculations) with a refresh rate of up to 64 Hz. Due to its small size, it can be easily integrated into various industrial applications or intelligent control devices. The camera has a resolution of 32x24 pixels and a field of view of 110°. Communication with the module is via an I2C interface. Full documentation along with examples of use are available on the product page.
