Description
The Gravity: Photo Interrupter Module is a high-precision optical detection module that uses the high-performance ITR9608 photoelectric switch. Thanks to its compact design and ease of use, this module is perfect for various electronic projects, including robotics, automation systems, and counters. The built-in sensor operates on the principle of light interruption – when an object enters the slot between the emitter and receiver, the light beam is blocked, triggering a sensor response.
The module features high sensitivity and precision, and its 5mm photonic gap allows detection of objects of various sizes. With the standard Gravity interface, it can be easily connected to platforms such as Arduino, micro:bit, or UNIHIKER, making it highly versatile. Its simple operation and reliable performance make it a great tool for education, prototyping, and advanced detection systems.
